1. Information We Collect
Walk to Wake is designed to operate without requiring users to create an account or provide personal information.
We do not collect, sell, or transmit personal information to our servers or third parties through the App.
The App does not require registration or login.
2. Physical Activity and Motion Data
Walk to Wake uses the device's built-in motion/step-sensing capabilities to determine whether you have completed the walking mission associated with an alarm.
For example, if you select a 100-step mission, the App uses the device's step information to determine your progress toward that mission.
This information is used solely to provide the walking-alarm functionality.
Walk to Wake does not transmit your step activity to our servers.
3. Alarm Information
Alarm settings are used locally by the App to provide alarm functionality. These may include alarm time, alarm frequency, alarm sound selection, snooze duration, maximum number of snoozes, and selected walking mission.
The App does not transmit these alarm settings to our servers.
4. Notifications
Walk to Wake may request permission to send notifications so that it can provide alarm-related notifications and other necessary App notifications.
You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.
5. Internet and Data Transmission
Walk to Wake does not require an internet connection for its core alarm and walking functionality.
We do not use the App to transmit your personal information, alarm settings, or walking/step information to our servers.
6. Advertising
Walk to Wake does not display advertisements and does not use advertising networks or advertising SDKs to serve advertisements.
7. In-App Purchases
Walk to Wake does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features.
8. Third-Party Services
Walk to Wake does not use third-party services to collect or process your personal information for advertising, analytics, or other commercial purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Walk to Wake is designed for a general audience and does not require users to provide personal information or create an account.
Because the App does not knowingly collect personal information from users, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Data Security
Because Walk to Wake does not transmit personal information to our servers, there is no account or personal-information database maintained by us for the App.
Users should nevertheless keep their device secure and use the security and privacy controls provided by their device's operating system.
11. Your Choices
You can manage permissions granted to Walk to Wake through your device's operating-system settings, including Physical Activity / Motion & Fitness and Notifications. Disabling these permissions may prevent some or all of the App's alarm and walking functionality from operating correctly.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date shown at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
